Peter J. Harte, Director

Peter graduated from the University of Western Ontario and was called in 1987.  He has practiced Arctic criminal law in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut since leaving Ontario in 2004.  He is a member of the Law Societies of Upper Canada and the Northwest Territories.

Peter is on the Admissions Committee of the Law Society of the NWT. He is also a member of the executive of the Canadian Council of Criminal Defence Counsel.

Peter’s ongoing Professional Development project with the NWT Law Society is a series of Lunch and Learn Seminars on leading cases in Canadian Criminal Jurisprudence.
